Everyone begins to converge on the Helctic Library, where beneath the ground, Venz and Belka face off against dangerous foes. Something is happening at the bottom of the library’s great staircase, and whatever it is has pushed several factions into action. Meanwhile, at the caravan, Bris finds themselves embroiled in politics. For the first time in her life, she seems to be enjoying it.

Challa takes in a festival, Belka steals a book, Venz gets chained up and Bris finds family.
